My hours of work are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm CST.
The contact form remains available to you 24/7. Feel free to fill out the form and I’ll respond in a timely manner.
I do have limited availability and can only take on a few clients per month, depending on each project’s size, to ensure that each client receives quality work in an efficient time frame.
I’ll announce on the project inquiry page when I am accepting new design projects as well as the estimated start date.
Each projects time frame is different and depending on the size of the project it can take anywhere from 2 – 8 weeks to complete from the scheduled start date. Please keep in mind that the time frame can increase or change due to communication and/or the size of the project(s).
I hope to work as efficiently as possible to ensure each project is completed in a timely manner.
A brand is a logo, design, symbol, color(s), type font, words or any other feature that represents a specific product or service. It is how your customers and/or readers perceive you. Your brand includes the packaging of your product, your website, social networks, business cards, the sign outside of your store, how you answer the phone, etc. All of this together is how your customers and/or readers experience your brand.
Your brand is the perception your customers have about your business.
“In one sense, perhaps the most important sense, a brand is a promise.” -Forbes.com
Small businesses, bloggers and authors need branding more than ever. Developing a solid brand can help set yourself apart from the competition and establish a valuable connection with your customers and/or readers. People trust a brand they can recognize and are familiar with, and shy away from a business that seems all over the place.
So, what does your current brand say about you?
No, I do not.
Your domain and hosting should be set up before we get started on your website or blog project. I do, however, offer WordPress Hosting Account and Domain Set-up. Basically I’ll set-up your WordPress hosting account and help secure your desired domain* for you, if you do not already have one. I’ll make sure everything is set-up correctly in your name and that the right products/services are purchased from the hosting company.
The WordPress Hosting Account and Domain Set-Up service I offer has a $50 fee and does not apply towards the cost of your hosting or domain.
There are quite a few trustworthy hosting services available. I personally have used GoDaddy.com for 5+ years.
*Please note that if your domain is not already secured in your name it is not guaranteed that you will receive the domain you’d like. I recommend thinking of a few back-up domains in case your first choice is unavailable.
Yes, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon the processing of your design contract and before the design process begins.
I have limited availability and only take on 3-5 clients per month (depending on projects) to ensure that each client receives quality work in an efficient time frame. The non-refundable deposit secures your spot in the design queue and ensures that you are ready to move forward with the project.
Any project cancellations after the clients design contract has been processed and the 50% non-refundable deposit payment has been made will result in a loss of deposit. Please read over the Terms of Service for further information on deposits and refunds.
An invoice will be sent to you electronically and you’ll be able to pay via PayPal.
Yes, of course!
All my clients are involved throughout the design process. It is a collaboration and I want to ensure that we are going in the right direction from start to finish. This also means that you will need to be available via email or Skype. Without communication the design process cannot move forward.
I do put a limit on revisions per project. This ensures that each proof is thoroughly looked over and that both of our times are efficiently spent. Sending dozens of revisions distracts from the design process and will only do more harm than good.
Please note that there is an additional charge if any changes are made after the final approval of the project.
WordPress is awesome.
WordPress is no longer just for blogging but is being used today as a full content management system (CMS) that has access to thousands of unique plugins, widgets and themes to make your website experience amazing. There is a reason millions of people use the WordPress service.
It is user friendly, fully customizable, flexible, and can be extended with plugins. Not to mention it just looks so good.
Furthermore, by using the Genesis Framework and Studiopress Child Themes on WordPress you’ll have access to state of the art SEO (Search Engine Optimization) capabilities and mobile-responsive designs.
I know, I know. It blows my mind also.
The design queue is basically a line of people awaiting their turn to be attended to. I schedule the design queue by first come first serve, unless there is a rush order. Rush orders are usually worked on after my normal working hours so as not to interrupt the current clients in the design queue.
Please contact me for Rush Order information.
Milo is my almost two year old miniature schnauzer and design assistant. Okay, he doesn’t actually help with the design process but he is a sweet companion who I love dearly and take way to many pictures of on Instagram.
He is basically like my child. At least he acts like it.
